EDM

EDM has been a rather recent form of music due to its requirement of electronic devices, such as operating systems, microphones, loudspeakers and other forms of tech which would be usually associated with music. This form of music, since its humble beginnings in the 1980s has exploded in popularity in the 2000s and has been increasing ever since. The ability of EDM artists to have full control over the score they are writing and how everything sounds allows for unimaginable creativity, which has most certainly led to some of the most popular songs in the world. There are some which are pure music combined with an electronic tone, but there are some which mimic orchestral and classical music and even vocal parts which captivate the audience.
